Clicking on the image is a link to the Tagging feature here at WPC

There is an option on your main menu called Tags...

It has been lingering in the background here on our system for years, it only just recently occurred to me to start using Twitter hash tags in there and see what happens...

But to enlighten you some about that puppy... Google reacts to its use quite favorably most of the time.

And basically what it does is allow you to associate multiple keywords, or phrases with your post... the system's usefulness is multi-fold, depending on how often others "share" your post offsite, it can put your message in the face of many more folks than you might have without it (everyone realizes by now how beneficial "sharing" is for marketing or many other communication purposes as well)...

And it also serves as a tool for use by anyone here (including guests), to locate that particular topic that caught your attention at another time previously but passed quickly because you didn't have time to read it thoroughly, so keep in mind to take note of the tags that are already attached as you peruse topics. You'll find an exhaustive list of the keywords already being used here in two places, the first screen you get when you click on any Tags menu option has the cloud listed at the top of the list, the Board Statistics Page also has a complete list of them and the number of instances where that keyword or phrase was used on a post...

When you reach the Jr Member level of access here on WPC you too will be able to add tags of your own to anything that interests you, noting that I will frown heavily on ANY misspelled words, I deplore poor spelling, but if its just a typo accident not to worry we understand that... more recently I have customized the Webmaster Resource/Downloads section of the site to incorporate its internal keywords into the overall site topic keywords as well, enjoy...

Best Regards,
Bob Perry
