What: During Women's History Month, please join The Suffrage Coalition at O'Connor Senior Center for two documentary films by Candace Corrigan about how women in America fought to win the right to vote.

Where: O'Connor Senior Center, 611 Winona St. in Knoxville


Monday, March 11, 2:30 p.m.

A Vote of Her Own

The story of the last campaign to pass the 19th Amendment. Filled with political intrigue and public debates that are comical and even absurd to modern audiences, this musical also underscores a passionate belief in equal voting rights for all Americans.


Thursday, March 14, 2:30 p.m.

How Southern Women Won the Vote

A documentary that tells the story of the final battle to win voting rights for American Women.

Refreshments will be provided. This program is free and open to the public!
