Next Steps in Genealogy

The Parrott-Wood Memorial Library (3133 W. Old A.J. Hwy, Strawberry Plains, TN) and Mrs. Ann Blomquist of the Jefferson County Genealogical Society are offering free Advanced Genealogy Classes at 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 26, 2019 and Monday, September 9, 2019.


Participants should plan on attending both sessions.  Attendees will need to bring their family’s research, including lineage charts, and family group sheets. Mrs. Blomquist will be teaching how to utilize additional resources for researching their family history and ancestors. Each class is limited to 20 people. Registration is required.


Please call 865-933-1311 or visit www.jcpls.org (Parrott-Wood Memorial Library website) to register.  The library will have some computers, laptops, and tablets available for the patrons to use.  If you have your own laptop or tablet and feel more comfortable using it, please bring it with you.
