Smoky Mountain Traditions Come Together at Greenbrier Mountain Festival

The third annual Greenbrier Mountain Festival will be Friday, July.22  from 12:00 p.m. til  9:00 p.m. and Saturday, July 23  from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at Hills Creek Baptist Church featuring a combination of Mountain Crafts, Bluegrass Gospel music, Scrumptious homemade food, Kids activities, Engines, and more. Last year's festival was a huge success and we expect this year to be bigger and better with over 70 vendors. The festival, presented by Hills Creek Baptist Church and the Town of Pittman Center, will emphasize a step back in time to the rich history and culture of the Smoky Mountains community of Pittman Center.

"You will see amazing products made in our community where our local businesses will display products that we still hold close to our hearts in keeping the traditions alive that our forefathers established dating back to the 1700s," said Dustin Shultz, Pastor of Hills Creek Baptist Church.

The Greenbrier Mountain Festival will feature the following:

  • A Kids Camp with lots of fun for kids and adults with many games, a bounce house, slide, and all kinds of other activities. It will be a great place for kids to enjoy while adults shop locally at the festival.

  • Live Entertainment throughout the day featuring some of the best local Bluegrass Gospel bands that genuinely represent the sounds of our mountain heritage.

  • Crafters Corner: Family-owned local businesses creating unique arts and crafts with one-of-a-kind homemade products including handmade crafts from woodworkers, blacksmithing and more.

  • Garden of Feedin': Folks in the community presenting all kinds of homemade traditional food and
