Growth Plan before Commission this month

"I made a huge mistake tonight when I stated the vote for the growth plan tonight was delayed to March.  I reviewed my email from staff and it is the Comprehensive Plan that has been delayed. Please send this to anyone that you think may have heard this tonight that might still want to address the Growth Plan.

"I am so sorry and will correct this immediately with other commissioners," said Knox County Commission Chairwoman Terry Hill.

The chair's remarks during the Growth Plan meeting were reported in The Knoxville Focus and Mayor Glenn Jacobs's spokesperson Mike Donila notified the Focus when our issue came out last week.

Unfortunately, Hill's email was not sent to us and we went with a story based on what was said during the meeting.

The Growth Plan is back on the agenda for this Wednesday's work session and on Monday's regular meeting agenda.
