Compassion Closet is opening in the Fountain City area within St. Paul UMC off Garden Drive at 11 a.m. today.

Compassion Closet began in 2013 and now has five locations in the East Tennessee area. Compassion Closet serves foster, kinship and adoptive families by providing for their tangible needs. Everything is free to use. They served 2,500 children last year. Compassion Closet is 100% donor-funded and volunteer-led. They are always looking for businesses, churches and individuals to partner with.
