During President Donald Trump’s weekly address on Friday, Trump claimed that his first 100 days in office were the most successful in the history of the United States, according to The Hill.

“My fellow Americans, I truly believe that the first 100 days of my administration has been just about the most successful in our country’s history,” said Trump. “Our country is going up, and it’s going up fast.”

“Since my inauguration, economic confidence has soared, reaching higher than any time in nine years. Optimism among manufacturers is at a record high, and small-business confidence has seen its largest increase in nearly four decades,” he continued.

Trump also made mention of his his Supreme Court appointment of Justice Neil Gorsuch, saying “my administration is the first in modern political era to confirm a new Supreme Court justice in the first 100 days. The last time it happened was 136 years ago, in 1881.”

While Trump touts his first 100 days as a major success, he told reporters earlier that despite his success, he believes the first 100 day mark is not a solid way of judging a president’s performance.

“I don’t think there’s ever been anything like this. It’s a false standard, 100 days, but I have to tell you, I don’t think anybody has done what we’ve been able to do in 100 days,” said Trump.

His first 100 days have not been without problems, however. Trump still has yet to repeal]Repeal – TheBlaze Obamacare. Furthermore, immigration is still a major issue he is having to contend with, seemingly]These Women Are Seen Begging for Money With Babies on the Street — but News Station Says It Uncovered a Diabolical Secret – TheBlaze gaining little ground on something he made a major issue during his campaign. Many of these attempts have been stymied by courts such as the 9th Circuit.

Trump recently confessed that he thought the job of being president would]Would a suitable white American bomber please stand up and make this Salon scribe a happy guy? – TheBlaze be far easier than his former job of running the Trump corporation.
